Businessman from Batumi Offers Spaces in "White Sails" Complex to Citizens of Kuwait, Ukraine and Russia

 "Commersant" has learnt the details of a new large-scale project "White Sails" laucnhed in the capital of Adjara - Batumi.

 

As it turns out, Armeridans company implementing the project  plans to promote foreign capital inflows in Georgia. For this reason, sales offices will be opened in Kuwait, Ukraine and Russia,

 

The complex will be located on  120 thousand square meters and will include  two five-star hotels and six apart-hotels as well as outdoor and indoor pools, entertainment and shopping centers, restaurants and lounge bars.

 

Gocha Kankia, the  company’s representative, states to  “Commersant" that the company received a construction permit  1.5 months ago and the foundation has  been laid.

In Kankia’s words, the company has already started to sell apartments. 1 square meter price ranges within $ 1 590-  $ 1 090.

According to him, considering increasing tourism potential, the company has high hopes for  foreigners in terms of sales. " Sales offices will be opened in Kuwait as well as Ukraine and Russia, we will not focus only on the Georgian market ,"- Kankia notes.

 

He explains "White Sails" is Armeridans’ first project carried out by  Raul Kaitanba, Batumi resident  Abkhazian by  origin.

As for the origin of capital, Kankia notes  that the company is a resident of Georgia, however, with a European capital.

 

As they say in the Adjara government, hotel industry's number one company Interstate Hotels and Resorts  has entered Georgia for the first time. (Interstate is engaged in the operation of the hotel network worldwide since  1960. For example, such as: Starwood, Intercontinental, Hyatt, Holiday Inn, Marriott and others.). White Sails  complex will be also managed by the international hotel operator.

 

Up to 300 locals will be employed at the  construction. The construction, under the agreement, should  be completed in four years, that will allow to create  another  500 jobs.

The construction will be completed in 4 years.
