A Hotel Based on the Knight in the Panther's Skin to be Built in Tbilisi

A hotel based on the Knight in the Panther's Skin  by Shota Rustaveli will be opened in Tbilisi. The project is carried out by the Israel-Georgia Business Chamber. The hotel will be  located on Freedom Square, and the Chamber announced the competition for architects for  professional decoration . According to a representative of  the Chamber, applications will be submitted till  November 1 and to reveal a winner, it will take additional 2 weeks.

On competition conditions, the design idea should be based on the Knight in the Panther's Skin, quotes  from a poem in 3 languages ??(English, Hebrew and English) should be used in exterior and interior design. The library with old books will be arranged in the hotel lobby. Winners will receive cash prizes.

It will be a 4-5-star boutique hotel and will focus  mainly on VIP tours from Israel. The hotel will consist of 15 rooms, 30 people will be employed during construction, while after  the opening -  20 people. The hotel is scheduled to open in April 2016. The investment  cost of  the project is  $ 5 million.
