Direct flights  may be performed from Tbilisi to Malta. According to  Irina Tsertsvadze, Director of  VIPR company  which is the official representative of Malta in Georgia, flights are  expected to be launched  next year.

According to her, the demand and interest for flights is very large both in Malta and Georgia.

Malta delegation arrived in Georgia earlier this year. The main goal of the visit of  one of the largest international tour operators GLOBALAIR TRAVEL and the Malta College CHAMBER COLLEGE  was the  appointment of direct charter flights in Tbilisi- Malta-Tbilisi direction. The meetings also focused on the largest European tourism company's entry into Georgia, which will contribute to the development of tourism in the region and increase the flow of European tourists.
