On October 20, 2015, the company "Axis" and the Georgian Co-Investment Fund (GCF) held the official presentation of the new twin skyscrapers project "Axis Towers". Within the framework of the event, the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili addressed the gathered audience . The presentation was attended by the government officials, the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia, international financial institutions, government agencies and private companies.
At the presentation the public became aware of the details of the project’s concept, functionality and technical parameters. The multifunctional complex consists of two 41- storey skyscrapers, one of which will be made of glass, and the second of stone. "Axis Towers" will be the tallest building at 147 meters in height. Its total area is 94 000 m 2. The project envisages the construction of an underground car parking meant for 500 cars. A five-star hotel will be located in “Axis Towers" glass tower , which will be operated by Pullman, the Accor Group's upscale international brand focused mainly on the tourism business. At the presentation a corresponding agreement was signed by Accor Group and "Axis Towers". A- class business center with a total office space of 15 000 m2 will function in the tower. In the stone tower the residential apartments with impressive views will be located on 15 000 m2 .
The building will be equipped with all the necessary infrastructure in order to create a comfortable environment for residents.
"Axis Towers" will offer guests a variety of entertainment and relaxation: a fitness and spa centers; 25-meter outdoor pool with a moving roof; Sky Bar with the best views of the capital on the top floor of the building; the concert hall of 1 100 m2; cafes and restaurants; shopping center and more.
In the words of Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, development of tourism and real estate sectors is very important for the country’s economy.
"Axis" Director General George Kapanadze notes that "Axis Towers" is an unprecedented project in its scale and functional capacity. This is a multi-functional complex, combining the development of five areas. High-end residential, office, commercial and entertainment spaces will be located in the skyscrapers as well as five-star French hotel - Pullman.
Executive Director of the Co-Investment Fund George Bachiashvili states that "Axis Towers" project is fully consistent with the Co-Investment Fund’s objectives.
A total of $ 83 million will be invested in the Georgian economy. The Co-Investment Fund played a decisive role in the implementation of the project. With our common efforts, the 7-year suspended project has been resumed a few months ago and is scheduled to be completed in 2017. We are confident that the project will establish a new standard not only in Georgian real estate market but also in the whole Caucasus region, "- Bachiashvili stresses.
