The first yacht club will be opened in  Adjara in the near future. The project is carried out by the Turkish company "Avrasya Georgia" which  is going to spend  $ 4 million for this purpose.

"Avrasya Georgia"  is implementing the hotel project  worth $ 130 million and  plans to  arrange  the yacht club in this area. After the construction is completed, a large casino and a shopping center  will be located in the hotel’s territory. The  International Investors Association Secretary General Osman Chalishkan says that there will be small channels between the  hotel and the yacht club where visitors will be able to walk  on water in gondolas as in  Venice.

It is also known that the project will be finished in 2017 and after the opening  the yacht club will be able to receive 28 yachts at the same time.

Osman Chalishkan explains to  "Commersant" that given the fact that it will be  the first yacht club in Adjara, the project’s main objective is to attract  tourists.
