According to data published by the Information and Analytical Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in November 2015 the number of visitors to Georgia amounted to 436 234 people, which is 8.4% more than in the same period of 2014.

144 109 of them are    tourists while  93 716 - transit  tourists.
 

As of  January - November 2015, the total number of visitors reached 5 431 723  that is  6.9% more than in the same period of 2014.

In November, the highest number of visitors came from  Armenia (-1%), followed by Turkey (2, 2%), Azerbaijan (22%), Russia (7%), and Ukraine (-2%). A number of visitors from the EU has  significantly grown in January-November 2014, in particular, Lithuania, Italy, Germany and Latvia (respectively 17%, 14%, 11% and 11%).

The number of visitors from the countries of Central Asia  has also increased, especially from Kazakhstan (30%), Eastern Europe, especially in Belarus (52%), the Middle East, particularly Israel (39%).
 

A sharp increase in the number of visitors from the UAE was also observed from the United Arab Emirates  (748%) and Saudi Arabia (79%).
 

The number of visitors from the United States has  increased by 100 % during this period.
