Georgia and China will create a working group to identify certain obstacles that hinder the arrival of Chinese tourists in Georgia.
The decision was adopted during a meeting between the Georgian Minister of Economy and the China National Tourism Administration in Beijing. Giorgi Chogovadze, the head of the National Tourism Administration, will head the working group on the Georgian side.
Economy Minister briefed the Chinese side of the tourism development strategy, according to which by 2025 the country will be visited by 11 million tourists , a significant portion of them will be Chinese tourists.
