"Archi Group" plans to bring two large hotel brands into the Georgian market this year. As the company's managing director states radio "Commersant", in 2016 four or five new projects with a total area of 120 thousand square meters and a total value of 50 million are planned to be launched.
Ilya Tsulaia doesn’t rule out that the number of the projects will increase. Tsulaia says that the company has become more active in the hotel business as in light of increasing tourist flows, demand for hotels is huge. According to him, this year a boutique hotel will be opened on the Silver Street in Tbilisi, in parallel negotiations are underway with a global brand and one or two brands will be brought in Tbilisi and Bakuriani.
Tsulaia does not specify the brand, however, says that this is one of the largest networks in the world and the group is already represented in the Georgian market.
In the words of "Archi Group" Director General, a 3-star hotel will start to operate in Tbilisi while in Bakuriani a 4-star hotel that will be an unprecedented event, as the luxury brand has not been represented in Bakuriani yet. The hotel’s facilities will include a pool, spa, an entertainment center and will encourage the development of Bakuriani resort.
