This time "Silk Road Group” company  plans to commence construction of  Raddison Blu Telegraph hotel  in the former building of the Central Post Office and Telegraph in Tbilisi. The project is planned to begin   in the spring of 2016.

"Commersant"  was told at Carlson Rezidor Group known by its  brand "Radisson" that  the  construction is  expected to be completed within 12 months.

Apart from the hotel, there will be placed a jazz club, restaurants, bars, banquet and conference halls  in the building. Standard hotel rooms and the gym will be located on the second floor of the hotel, while  business and lux class rooms - on the third and fourth floors. The presidential suite and penthouses will be placed on the top floor.

In general, the hotel will include  170-180 rooms. The investment cost of the project is $ 30-35 million.

"Silk Road Group"  previously revealed plans  to build Park Inn hotel  in the former telegraph building  and even signed an agreement with "Rezidor Group" in 2013 about the commencement of construction, which had to be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2015.
 

Later, the decision was reversed and the company decided to build another "Radisson" hotel in Tbilisi.
 

 It is not a new project for  "Silk Road Group" - the company  already owns two "Radisson"  hotels in Tbilisi and Batumi.
