Prime Minister Officially Opened Tetnuldi Ski Resort

Giorgi Kvirikashvili attended the opening ceremony of the resort together with the members of the Cabinet. As he told reporters, currently one ski track is operating in Tetnuldi while by the end of the year three cableways are planned to be  added. 

 

“It will be one of the best resorts not only in Georgia, but throughout whole Eastern Europe”- Kvirikashvili said. Theski track of Tetnuldi will be the longest throughout the South Caucasus (9.5 KMs) and will have the largest vertical drop (1.7 KMs).  By the end of  2016,  it is planned to increase the length of the ski trail to 30 km.

 

Construction works at  "Tetnuldi" began in May 2014 and ended in January 2016. The resort is  located at an altitude of 2 200 meters above sea level and 15 kilometers from Mestia.
