The governor of Guria region   talks  about  a tourism potential  of the resort of  “Bakhmaro” in a conversation with  "Commersant".

As reported, the  government will set up a special group to  develop the resort. According to the governor, "Bakhmaro" resort is unique in  its climate and can be visited  both in summer and winter time. In Gia Salukvadze’s words,  German businessmen showed their interest in the resort and   want to build  ski tracks and hotels there. However, the governor also touched on the problems faced by the   resort toda  and other infrastructure.

A volume of investment needed for the resort development will be specified  after an action plan for the further development of the resort is presented .
