Construction of a three-star hotel "Hampton By Hilton" in Tbilisi will begin this year. The project will be carried out by  the local  businessman David Kodua. According to the businessman,  the hotel will  be built on the site of the pediatric clinic on Melikishvili Street. A total of  7 - 9 million dollars will be invested in the project.

In David Kodua’s words,   the City Hall has issued a building  permit but the procedures are still in progress and will take about 2 weeks. The businessman notes the  project  is expected to be completed  in a year and a half after the construction commencement date.
