A company  that may begin to operate direct flights in  the US direction enters the Georgian market.

The initiator of bringing the  airline in Georgia is the Chinese company "Hualing" which is one of the largest investors in the country's economy.

This was stated by Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili after a meeting with the president of the corporation.

According to "Hualing" President, the Corporation intends to continue to invest in the country's economy.

"We are  investing  in Georgia for a few years and intend to continue investing in such sectors as energy and education. In particular, we are interested in taking part in the construction of gas storage facilitiesand  development of the  areas such as tea-growing and tourism. In addition, "Hualing" has  acquired the airline in China which will enter the Georgian market, "- he says.

In the words of the  Economy Minister Dmitry Kumsishvili, the new company is already registered in Georgia.

"The fact that the" Hualing " brings a new company to the Georgian aviation market is very important. It is expected that the new company will bring two "Boeing - 737" in Tbilisi, and later "Boeing 777". Directflights in the direction of Europe and Asia will be fulfilled as well. Later, the direct flights to the US will be also considered,  "- he notes.

According to him, the airline will be based in Georgia.
