The Cultural Heritage Agency of Adjara Autonomous Republic hosted a media tour entitled " From Petra to Gonio". Journalists visited rehabilitation works which are being carrying out in Petra and Gonio fortresses and saw the exhibits at the Nobel Brothers and Batumi Archeological Museums.
The project is funded by the European Union (EU) and aims at improving cultural tourism quality in Georgia. A model route has already been created, which will help the agencies to plan tours based on historical objects. " From Petra to Gonio " route covers 10 objects and includes both the sights of the early period and modern historical objects.
