Gov’t Sets up a New Company to Encourage Tourism in Georgia

 I want to tell investors that the hotels unprecedented occupation   you see today in Georgia will not be a one-off - the Prime Minister  said at the Government's session today while speaking about  Check in Georgia project. In Kvirikashvili’s words, this project continues.
 
 "I want to tell our citizens once again that this is not just one or two popular performers. This is a series of performances by foreign and local artists. This is more an economic project, in terms of tourism promotion, the aim of which is to increase revenues of our compatriots and companies operating in Georgia, "- Kvirikashvili  said.
 
The Prime Minister said on behalf of the team that the government will continue to encourage local businesses and tourism.

"Moreover, we plan to set up a special company which will be a model of partnership between the public and private sectors. The Supervisory Board will  include representatives of the tourism and other sectors, which will take part in the program planning for next year. The budget for next year will also include all performances scheduled in the country for a following  year . The government’s economic bloc officials,  representatives of the Ministry of Culture and the private sector will be involved in creating a calendar  of events, " - Kvirikashvili noted.
 
In the Prime Minister’s words, the government guarantees that the travel companies and hotels occupancy  will further increase in the future.
