A grandiose opening ceremony of Millennium 7-star hotel will be held on July 31 in the Georgian capital.
"Commersant" was told by Dhabi Group Executive Director Sam Edwards who revealed a few details of the event: the opening ceremony will be similar to the Burj Dubai opening ceremony, Dubai's famous skyscraper, and an outstanding fireworks show. The event will be attended by representatives of the world's media - BBC, CNN, Sky News, guests and VIP personalities from around the world.
Edward says that the opening ceremony will cost $ 2 million.
The ceremony will last for 3 hours and its organizers promise residents and guests of Tbilisi an unforgettable sight.
"What you will see on July 31, you’ll never forget, there will be fireworks, 3D show, broadcast live ," - Sam Edward told "Commersant."
He says that most rooms are already booked in the hotel mainly by the citizens of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain.
The company will choose the casino operator within one week.
Along with Millennium hotel, IMELI restored building is planned to open as well.
Dhabi Group representative says that talks are underway with the Georgian government regarding other strategic projects. The projects will be mainly carried out in the real estate sector.
The project investment cost reaches $ 100 million. The Millennium Biltmore Hotel is a luxury hotel functioning only in Los Angeles, California.
Burj Khalifa (Khalifa Tower) was opened in 2010 as part of a new development called Downtown Dubai.
It should also be noted that architecture of Millennium hotel in Tbilisi caused discontent among the public.
