According to Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, a modern road of European standards will be built from Tusheti to Tbilisi. As Kvirikashvili said in Tusheti, while attending Tushetoba holiday celebration, a project is already being drafted.

"We pay special attention to the development of Tusheti. It has enormous potential in terms of tourism. We have already announced a tender. We will build a modern road of European standards that will connect the capital to Tusheti and all the tourists will be able to safely arrive here in the shortest possible time. Also, roads connecting mountainous regions are very important. We are working on them as well.

This is very important as otherwise it would be impossible to preserve the region for future generations. This road will have a lot of functions, and primarily it will be development of tourism. It will also have a function of preserving the cultural heritage, as it would be impossible without road and infrastructure,"- said the Prime Minister.
