Adjara Group To Open Rooms Hotel in Batumi

Following Kazbegi and Tbilisi, Rooms hotel will be open in Georgia’s seaside town Batumi. The 170-room hotel investment cost is about $18 million USD.

According to General director of Adjara Group Valeri Chekheria, exterior of the building is already completed, however the hotel will open in summer 2017. In the near future Adjara Group plans to open another hotel in Kakheti region, as for Chekheria, they intent to create Agro-tourism center and expand of hotel chain at the end of the 2017 year.

In addition, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and Bank of Georgia signed a $24 million loan agreement on financing of a five star luxury InterContinental hotel project, the leading brand of the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG). This is the first “Manchise” project that AGH launched with IHG.
