| Government of Ajara declared that construction of hotel Mega Palace in Batumi, being launched in 2014, will be brought to end in 2017. The 30-floor hotel will have 105 rooms, casino, restaurant, swimming pool and other amenities. Founder of LLC Mega Palace Levan Khimshiashvili noted that investments of up to 15 million lari have been attracted in the region through the project. Ajara government said that construction of more 2 hotel complexes will be launched soon on the territory nearby to the hotel and this will attract Georgian and foreign investments of about 45 million lari.
