Partnership Fund declared that Gino Green City Corporation launches project on territory of Tbilisi Sea (artificial water reservoir nearby Tbilisi), envisaging construction of recreational infrastructure, hotels, entertainment, trade and residential houses. According to the Fund, total cost of the project makes $700 million, and Slovakia’s ExImBank plans to join its financing also. The Fund and Gino Green City Corporation signed an agreement on eco-compound project implementation in Tbilisi yesterday. City Hall of Tbilisi handed over to the Fund area of 261 ha, which will be step-by-step passed to the Corporation in line with execution of investment plans, the Fund noted, specifying that after arrangement of public infrastructure (roads, kindergartens, schools, etc.) on this territory by the investor, 83 ha will remain in property of the city. Gino Green City Corporation is founded by Slovak company Gino Invest. Partnership Fund has signed memorandum of cooperation with the latter company in last November. In 2013, the Fund and Gino Invest had opened a hotel in Rabati, historical part of Akhaltsikhe (Samtskhe-Javakheti region), while recently a hotel was opened in Mtskheta. Gino Invest has built also Gino Paradise aqua park in Tbilisi (30 million EUR).
