Georgia has more than 1 200 hotels ,  41% of them have been put into operation in the last 3 years, - First Vice-Premier and Minister of Economy Dimitri Kumsishvili said at the opening of a new hotel in Tbilisi. 

 

The new hotel in which 8 million was invested will employ 100 people. 

Today we have a total of 1 200 hotels in Georgia and 41% of them have been  put into operation in the last 3 years", - said Kumsishvili.

According to him, today business is motivated; investments are put in the country,  a tourism development strategy developed by the government  guarantees an increase in the number of visitors from 6 to 11 million.
