A 5-star hotel and spa complex in Shekvetili is one of the ongoing projects of the Tourism Development Foundation of Georgia. The complex construction works will end in 2016.
The project’s total investment value is $ 80 million. Main construction works and suites have been accomplished. Currently, the complex coating works are underway. The hotel will comprise 220 suites with sea views, 1 600 cubic meter aquarium, a swimming pool cut into the sea in 150 meters, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, winter garden and thematic restaurants. The complex will also provide spa and magnetic sand services. The facility will includ children entertainment center, big water toboggan, sports playgrounds, movie theater and accommodated walking paths.
The hotel has been adapted for persons with disabilities. Autograph Collection, Marriott’s top category international brandy, will provide top level services. As reported, the Co-Investment Fund of Georgia has set up the Tourism Development Foundation for the purpose of tourism infrastructure development. Currently, the Tourism Development Foundation is implementing 8 large-scale projects worth $ 680 million in Tbilisi, Guria, Ajara and Samegrelo Regions.
